Sunrider Promos and Explainers
Below are a few of the many videos I worked on at Sunrider International. While I worked on a multitude of other projects at Sunrider, promotional videos and explainers were usually my bread and butter.
Kandesn Lip Balm Promo
In 2022, a new lip balm product under Sunrider’s Kandesn line was to be released and I was given the task of creating a promotional video for it. I really wanted to practice my 3D animating skills so I presented my ideas to the team and came up with the video you see here. I went through the whole process starting from conception and planning, to storyboarding, to modeling, and finally to animating.
40 Years Anniversary Promo
Occasionally I will work with our social media coordinator and help create some videos for them. With these videos, we worked together to concept a short-form video that would be published on social media.
Vitamin D3 Explainer
As part of Sunrider’s Fit Tip series, this video was basically used to explain what a product is used for. For these videos, I am given about 2 weeks to go from storyboards to the final deliverable. The script and voiceover are provided by a different department and I am given the task of designing style frames, organizing them into a storyboard, and finally animating them. Due to time constraints, various assets in the video are taken from our paid subscription to a royalty-free library.
SunSmile Explainer
This is another video part of the Fit Tip series. As I improve as a designer and animator, I can see a lot of ways I could have done better in these videos but it’s great seeing myself gradually improve with each video.
Bootcamp Highlights
Often times after an event I am given the task of organizing our footage to create a highlight video. These videos would usually incorporate less motion graphics and depend more on the footage used. All of the footage (besides the few clips in the intro) was recorded by other team members and forwarded to me so that I could do all of the editing.
Bootcamp Promo
This was a promotional video I created for another Bootcamp event. With these, there wasn’t as much in-house footage to use so I would often need to rely on our royalty-free library. Nonetheless, the overall look and feel were all decided by me.
